Hervey Bay is a great holiday destination which is commonly referred to as the whale watching capital of the world! You can see the whales here between August & November. Hervey Bay is protected by Fraser Island (which is World Heritage Listed) and is a bay of beautiful beaches. Fraser Island is also a wonderful destination to visit with crystal clear lakes, historical sites (including shipwrecks), magnificent ancient rainforests and Dingos sunbaking on the beach!
