We suggest Springmount Station Horse Riding, Fishing Cairns, White-water Rafting with Foaming Fury or Raging Thunder and Muddy's Playground for the kids. Cairns main tourist attractions must be seen if you are spending some time here. We suggest Cairns Regional Gallery, Tjapukai Cultural Park, Cairns Foreshore Promenade and swimming lagoon and Cairns Museum. Bev Hewson suggested Explore the Undara Lava Tubes (strange formations below the land), Enjoy a champane breakfast while flying over the Atherton tablelands in a hot air balloon, Be adventureous by going Bungy jumping or skydiving, Travel to the beautiful tablelands by Skyrail and return by the Kuranda Scenic Train and Enjoy the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef on a luxurious day cruise.

If you like nature and want to see the wildlife, there are some places to go. We suggest Daintree River & Cape Tribulation - why not try a Bush Safari or Jungle Tour, Mangrove Boardwalk located 200m from the airport, Mt Whitfield Conservation Park, Flecker Botanic Gardens and Crystal Cascades - located approx 20kms from Cairns is a series of beautiful waterfalls and pools. Bev Hewson suggested Visit the Cairns Zoo and come up close with a crocodile, cassawary, kangaroos, wombats etc., Ride a 4 wheeler through rugged rainforest and Take in the beauty of the lushous tablelands and enjoy a guided tour through the rainforests and waterfalls.
