If you like nature and want to see the wildlife, there are some places to go. Glen Fry of Historic Cambridge House, a Geeveston B&B, suggested Heritage National Park, Hartz Mountains and Platypus sightings at the bottom of our garden in the Kermandie River.

If you are interested in history, Geeveston has some great historical sites. Glen Fry suggested Cambridge House built by a founder member of Geeveston John Geeves in 1869 and The local Community Church also built by John Geeves.

Good food and good wine are part of life's necessities, therefore don't leave without trying some (or all!) of these places. Glen Fry suggested 'Kyari' Restaurant Church Street Geeveston which won the best BYO in the WHOLE of Australia excellent food and service.

Geeveston main tourist attractions must be seen if you are spending some time here. Glen Fry suggested Southern Forest Furniture and Gallery with local Artisans, Geeveston Highlands Salmon Fishing, The Ida Railway 45 minutes from us near Southport, Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs and The Tahune Air Walk.
