The airport shuttle bus runs between the city and the airport or alternately catch a taxi. The metro bus will take you around the city or maybe you could hire a car. That is unless you have come over on the Spirit of Tasmania and brought your car with you!

Shops of all varieties including discount shopping stores can be found around Hobart. The main shopping area in located in the city centre in Elizabeth Street Mall and surrouding streets. Salamanca Place is the home to the Salamanca Markets held every Saturday. These markets are well worth a visit and contain some of Tasmanias finest arts and crafts.

Whilst Hobart does not compete in many of the national sports of Australia, it still has a deep love of sport.
