|
This is the screen you will arrive at once you login. It's your control panel and you should always leave this screen running in the background on your computer, as it will alert you when you receive a booking request.
Here is a diagram of the screen. Letters highlight the various components, and their definitions are as follows:-
|
|
(A) Contact : Clicking Live Support to launch the ausgo messenger facility.
(B) Menu : Provides links to all supplier programs, such as bookings and listing maintenance.
(C) Messenger Inbox : System messages plus correspondence matters.
(D) Check-ins : Displays this months check-ins. There are also forward and back buttons to display check-ins for other months.
(E) Date Bar : Clicking the 'from' button allows you to jump to a future date on the calendar, or use the forward and back buttons to scroll through a week at a time.
(F) Rate : The applicable rate for the unit on that day.
(G) Allot : How many units have been allotted for sale.
(H) Sold : How many units have been sold. We keep track of how many were sold through ausgo, however you may wish to add any phone sales to this figure to help you keep organized.
(I) Held : How many units have currently been 'held' for a guest, i.e. taken off the market until the guest has the opportunity to pay for and secure the accommodation.
(J) Stop : A checkbox to mark the room type as being sold out for the day.
(K) Stop Range : When you receive a booking from the phone or another site, and the booking dates don't fall on this screen, rather than use the Date Bar to change dates, simply use the 'Stop Range' to mark them as sold.
(L) Update : If you change values for Rate/Allot/Sold/Held/Stop, you must update them by clicking this button.

|
The supplier screen will automatically update every few minutes.
This is to check for system activity, and warn you if a something has occurred. All system activity will be displayed as messages in the messenger window.
If you receive a booking request, it will popup in a new window.
For this reason, you must enable popups for the ausgo site if you have a popup blocker.
